Eleyea (L-ee-ah)
The eley who are native to the forests and deserts of Ardlam, the Eleyea have a carefree and down-to earth attitude towards life. Spending a majority of their time wandering from place to place, the Eleyea can influence the earth around it, shaping stone to ease its path or shrinking earth to trip up foes.

Eleyeas typically speak Terran as their elemental language.
Average technological level
The elyea care little in the way for advanced technology, instead utilizing more simple travel tools, often self-carved from stone. Many have little attachment to any earthly possessions, viewing all things as destined to return to the earth one day, so there is little need to become possessive.
Common Dress code
Many eleyea wear light travel clothes, like nice boots, tight shorts, and long cloaks. They often go shirtless, as their stony skin is resistant to the sun and they often work up a sweat in their constant walks.
Art & Architecture
Eleyea build few buildings, as they mostly wander from place to place. Many carve out temporary homes in caves, but have larger stone monasteries at key waypoints around the realm for weary nomads to stop and rest.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
Eleyea babies are often placed on the ground soon after birth, so that they may feel the warmth of the earth and begin their exploration of the world. Eleyea young often learn to walk much faster then the other eley.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Eleyea are buried within the earth as soon as possible upon their death, so that their essence may return to the soil that they sprang from.

Most eleyeas worship Yea, the god of Earth, and many take up spiritual lifestyles.
