Materia 37: "Dark One"

General Summary

Mari recieves a tempting offer from the Dark One to bring back her sisters. Confounded, she confides in Fredrika, who advises her that the offer is tantamount to servitute. Setting off for the Suntower near Ishllond, the party finds Rell Thedan slain and risen as undead. After managing to subdue him in a drinking game, the the party finds Utkan Sebasi behind the killing, and a battle for the control of the tower ensues. Achiving victory, the party regroups with Viseri and Myriell.
After agreeing to return to Ishllond to debut at court after their saving of the city, Hanako is visited by the Dark One in her dreams. Rejecting his offer, Mari, Hanako, tentatively reject assisting him. Planning for the their debut at court, the party readies themselves for dinner at the Starlight Palace.
