Marina Zinyra is the Lord of Kunigawa. She is an Apostle of Titivilus, powerful sorcerer, and prominant member of high society in the Shou Empire, bearing allegence to the Fujiwara Dynasty. She is assisting in the reconstruction of Sora Anzai's Cardinal Urn.

Life

Mari is from Ola Thamar, and was raised during a war with northern Mollaran dwarves. After suffering a nighttime raid upon her village of Steltor in which her younger sisters Bella and Tami were killed, Mari grew apart from her mother Heather and eventually left the village.

Fame

Mari first rose to prominence in the Shou Empire along with Hanako Fujiwara and Yvri Vrakkas when testifying before the Shou Royal Council confirming that she had been chosen by Sora Anzai to reassemble her Cardinal Urn. Around this time, she participated in a number of political maneuvers associated with the Fujiwara Dynasty's interests, including the killing of Fumihiro Yamato and the besting of Bastion-trained mage Francis Philidor in Tokuyama.
Mari grew her reputation further still by participating in the Battle of Kōga Bay in Teikyou, personally earning herself the title of Dragonslayer by killing Aiwin Thedan's Dragon, Deagon. She dueled Aiwin at the battle for Mt. Haku, again emerging victorious.
After helping to lead the coup that put Viseri Thedan on the throne of the Sultanate of Regnum Solas and end the Solite-Shou War of 1198, Mari was rewarded with the newly aquired lordship of Kunikawa.
