Morgrave University

The premier Arcane school in Breland and by some accounts, the best in the world. The main campus is in Sharn, The City of Towers and adds to the overall magical feel of the city. The university has had a colored history with several arcane explosions, outbreaks of magical disease, and bringing deadly artifacts into the city and awakening ancient evil spirits within the Metropolis. On top of these calamities, the school is deeply intertwined in Sharn politics bringing more suspicion to the operations of the University. Politicians and other influential residents of The Skyway will go above and beyond the normal complement of armed guards, and also travel a loyal caster to shroud them in protection spells when meeting with University staff.
The university has 2 main objectives - 1) teach and develop the best and most advanced arcane magic and 2) collect the rarest and most powerful magical artifacts, by either sending expeditions to find them or by making them. Many new spells have been developed in the laboratories here and have the facilities necessary to make 9th level spells. The school has vaults of magical weapons, but it is not know where within the buildings they are kept, as it is theorized they have more items than places to store them in the buildings there.
