Wizards Flu

Ranging from mild to deadly, Wizards Flu was named for the victims of it. Wizards Flu is transmitted through the arcane fabric of the world. Each time a arcane magic user casts a spell in an area infected with the disease, they have a chance to contract the disease. Those who are infected, when they cast spells, make the area they are in more infected and more likely that those in the area and around them will contract the disease.

Causes

There are many causes, Little is know of the disease, and what is called Wizards Flu may infact be many diseases, but very little research in the topic is done/possible.

Symptoms

Infected magical user sneeze a lot and are not as capable of casting spells.

Cultural Reception

The city of Sharn, The City of Towers has been the epicenter, specifically, Morgrave University, for very dangerous Wizards Flu outbreaks.
