The adventurers escort Christopherous Nico to Altdor and learn about the political landscape of the fiefdoms and country at large. They try to cut time and cut across the countryside. Along the way, traveling through the Fiefdom of The Sarsalas Family , they are ambushed by Minotaurs, saved by Jack Fair, The Sheriff of Nowhere, meet the inhabitants of Fairbreach, and solve a troll riddle to cross a bridge.
Based on a letter from Deveral Quinn, Archmage Antonidis relays information about a mystic in the forest around Altdor. The party looks for her and finds the fortune teller in her tree home. Each member and the group, secretly, and as a a whole get a prophecy about their future told to them.
The adventurers travels back to the Nico manner to return Christopherous Nico back home. They take the longer, safer, paved road route. Along the way, they save Fairbreach from a fire, an Oger Mage, and a Vampire. They team up with Maxwell Starr and Ruby Starr 2 rising vampire hunters.
After debriefing with Archmage Antonidis on the words from the mystic, Antonidis informs them that Deveral has been able to do a lot more clean up with the maps you have provided, more magic items have been recovered, and even a demon presence has been found. The remaining orc bands were much more organized than had previously thought, lead by a demon and they are mounting an attack on Varna with a siege craft. The party rendezvous with Deveral Quinn outside Varna and are tasked with slipping behind enemy lines to disable the siege craft. The team is successful in thei effort and Deveal is successful in warding off the Orcs for destroying Varna because he had enough time to prepare and because the siege craft was disabled. The party follows the fleeing Orc band to find their head quarters and find they are gathering in Sarczal. After returning to Varna, they convince Deveral to attack the orc base witht he last of the forces to fininsh the job.
Deveral Quinn leads the last of his forces to Sarczal and lays siege to the town acting as the Orc base of operations to give the part time to infiltrate the The Sarsalas Family Manor and eliminate the opposition leaders.
The party revels in their success, puts the finish touches on their handy work, and are even invited to Sharn where King Broanal Ir'Wynarn offers the Fiefdom of The Sarsalas Family back to Illyria Sarsalas, the rightful ruler.
After success in The Soul Sword Quest, the 4 adventurers continued in their lives with various other activities.
The Party help Maxwell Starr recover his sister, Ruby Starr ,from the necromantic grip of a Lich in the dwarven lands of The Dunkel Hills far to the West of Breland and West of The Great Wastes.
