Darvuin
The newest and second largest settlement in Karagors, Darvuin is a moderately sized Dwarven mining town. It's name is Dwarvish and can be translated roughly to mean "Ore Mines", named for the fact that there are incredibly rich deposits of metal ore around the settlement.
Demographics
The population of Darvuin are mostly Dwarves with a fair number of Goliath and a small population of fire Giants. There are also some humans living here, and a few members of other races but they're in the vast minority. The people of Darvuin are almost allworking class, with this being a heavily industrialised mining town that supplies a large percentage of Meintalia's metal. As such, the majority of workers are miners or smiths.
Government
Darvuin is ruled over by Dwarven Lord Kaius Stronghammer, one of the 13 Dwarf Lord of The Court of Karagors. The town follows the Karagorsi Laws strictly and contributes most of their wealth to the Dwarven Kingdom of Karagors(location:8202f0d4-c256-434f-a6fc-e2f1ccfbd230), but as the @[The Imperial Treaty lays out they must also pay a small portion of their wealth to The Empire as tax.
Infrastructure
Like most settlements in Karagors, Darvuin is a subteranean town carved from the stone in the mountain. As such, it resembles a man-made cave with strong, rigid, square features to all of the carved out buildings in typical Dwarven fashion. There are dozens of tunnels branching out from the town that lead to the sprawling mining network through Karagors.
