Karagors Mountain Range
The Karagors Mountain Range is a rough region filled with sheer cliffs, snowy peaks, giants, dragons and danger. Very few people dare travel over the mountains, however underground there is a thriving community of Dwarves living in cities carved into the stone surrounded by rich mines. There is an intricate tunnel system whose twists and turns are known only to the Dwarves, but they are accommodating to travellers and have a large, easy to follow tunnel considered the main road through the mountains.
The capital, Gurden Firve, is a huge city split into four districts, and there are three other dwarven settlements: Darvuin, Kartha and Karagon.
Rumour has it that you can find Troll Town and Imp Town high in the mountains though nobody has ever proved this.
Geography
The mountains themselves are huge, forming steep cliff faces, jagged peaks and deep valleys between them. Navigating them is difficult and very few people bother as they are mostly just barren stone and earth with little life on the surface. Beneath the mountains however exists a vibrant abundance of natural minerals and ores, discovered by the Dwarves after The Great War. These minerals and ores are mined by the dwarves and have lead to a huge, sprawling mass of tunnels and subterranean settlements that house most of the Dwarven race in Meintalia.
The Karagors Mountains are one of the largest regions in Meintalia, even sprawling on into Enuthia and Norwynne. Despite only half of the border being in Meintalia, it still reaches the Arthrypt Wetlands, Kalukon Snowfield, North Passolan Grasslands and The Great Forest.
