Enuthia
The country to the west of Meintalia. Enuthia was once the pinnacle of civilisation second only to Passola, a rich hub of trade and home to philosophers, modern politics, incredible architecture and the first culture to develop competetive athletics. It was absorbed into The Empire by Passola many centuries ago and the two countries set the stage for modern day culture and civilisation that was brought into Meintalia and other countries.
Localized Phenomena
The Blight in Enuthia is stronger than anywhere in Luxum, making agriculture near impossible. It's also bestowed a horrific curse on the country that reanimates anyone that has died here every nightfall. It is the fate of all Enuthian's to reanimate as a shambling husk of their former selves when they die, hence the popularity of curses that bestow longer life, like vampirism, lichdom and lycanthropy. The undead can never be brought down or defeated, as even those already dead and re-killed multiple times reanimate nightly. The number of undead only increases daily as more people die, which is why powerful necromancers, who are able to control these mindless zombies, are so highly regarded here.
History
Enuthia was the central location where Faramel launched his invasion into Luxum. Enuthia fell within weeks, unable to withstand the sudden fierce onslaught, and the country has been forever ruined, the culture long dead.
Now, Enuthia is known as The Deadlands, a blighted, desolate country with twisted plants, hordes of undead, lesser demons and horrific monsters plaguing the wilderness. Most cities and towns have been destroyed and abandonned, the population is now incredibly low but those that do reside here are fierce and stubborn survivors. Settlements built around lycanthropy, vampirism, necromancy and lichdom dominate the country, with the cursed bengs and those commanding dominion over undeath becoming the most powerful individuals in Enuthia as well as the people best equipped to protect the general populace from the greater threats found in the wilds.
