Although his hair and beard are heavily grizzled, Hans has the endurance and stamina of someone a decade younger, with great prowess for battle and willing to fight the most fearsome of opponents.

Personal history
Cuthbert was born in Braghill, Thortyr, son of a trerian fisherman and an unknown mother, growing up behind safe walls, yet surrounded by hardship and struggle. Since his childhood, Hans had to work with his father, fishing from the often-frozen rivers and creeks of the north in order to sustain himself.
Often finding himself alone in the streets of Braghill, the young man would frequently get himself involved in fights, brawls and gambling houses, destined to be part of a life of crime, violence and addiction. Yet, by some reason, the lad eventually chose to leave his homeland, heading south in search of adventure, of wealth and personal gain, moved by wanderlust.
Many years later, now almost 50 winters old, Cuthbert came across a man that would change his view on the world, that would give him something just and fair to fight for. It was then that Hans really found his true goal, to fight for that which was worthwhile, to fight for mankind against evil.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Hans is reasonably known in the White City, after being the one responsible for saving an entire farmstead from a band of ravenous ghouls, which earned him the nickname of Butcher of Pózna.
Morality & Philosophy
Hans is moved by a strong sense of morals, committed to fight against the corrupt and evil, yet not chivalrous enough as to move out of his path in order to save others, instead focusing his efforts in the actual struggle against darkness.

History
At some point in their lives, Hans and William adventured together, but fate set them apart as both found themselves in love with the same woman. Destiny later sealed their relation as nemesis when their struggle for the maiden's hand culminated in her death.
