Season 1, Turn 16
Days 16 - 30 of the Eighth Moon, 406 AC
General Summary
Oathbreaker, Continued
House Cerwyn | Castle Cerwyn | Sir RiskalotHere we go again... Nope means "not possible" in the slang I've been picking up here on my island paradise. You won, I withdrew... after the race. You lost men, I lost everything....after you cried foul when King Stark decided to wage war with you. I am no maester, as you would suggest.... just a survivor with a score to settle. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
I won, but you did NOT withdraw. You lost nothing but a few men, and that on your own accord. You GIFTED away your only holdings and lost about a hundred men who died under your orders as you broke your oath to assault me. I reiterate again: YOU. ARE. A. LIAR. You did NOT withdraw as you SWORE publicly for all to see on turn 3-5, somewhere in there. You BROKE this oath to assault me. Please note the important parts are capitalized for your convenience. House Pryor | Pebble | Count Darkwood
When my business at the capital concludes this quarter, I shall travel back North to investigate further into a heinous crime committed at the Natural Hot Springs. I would consult over and recommend a new contractor, having been thoroughly impressed with Summerhall. Since my own renovations are now halted due to the brute thuggery of Ryswell's cutthroats, the proposed Tournament of Winterfell shall be delayed, another thorn in my side. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
The cowardice of House Pryor, everyone! House Cerwyn | Castle Cerwyn | Sir Riskalot
You already have a duel at this tournament, King Yeti the Yellow. I've stopped running, so you should stop ducking. Holster your slingshot and pick your blade. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
You’re babbling, Lord Cerwyn. Our duel is to the death. This means that my duel with Lord Pryor must happen first so that if I die fighting you I do not leave a duel un-fought. House Cerwyn | Castle Cerwyn | Sir Riskalot
From what I understand there is only 1 duel, the one you accepted. The one you refused earlier is of no consequence as I have told Lord Pryor that I require no champion to fight for me. I shall do my own killing because your issue is with me, or so you have been whining about now for what seems like well over a year. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
Your understanding has, everyone knows, been flawed for a long time. I question whether your parents were inbred to produce such a foolish Lord. My quarrel is with your actions, but equally with Lord Pryor's cowardice. Thus I have also challenged him to a duel which the coward has been evading for months now. Thus as that fight would not be to the death I will be fighting it before I fight you, to the death. I recommend you prod your cowardly partner in crime to find his spine if you want to fight me like a man. It makes me suspect you too are a coward as well as a liar and oathbreaker for no brave and courageous lord would put up with Lord Pryor's philandering. House Cerwyn | Castle Cerwyn | Sir Riskalot
You welshed for all eyes to see, King Craven, twice. Are you going to do it a third time, now that the date and location are set? House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
You seem to be incredibly stupid. I never welshed, I accepted your challenge. The day my duel against Lord Pryor is over I will fight you. If you worry about cravens, speak to him. House Cerwyn | Castle Cerwyn | Sir Riskalot
I, Captain Cerwyn, formally of Castle Cerwyn, challenged King Yeti Ryswell to a duel via the Queen's Justice over Ryswell's sanctimonious attitude and belligerent accusations. The outcome is to be judged by the gods, proving fatal to the loser. Winner gets to keep living. Spectator betting is encouraged but there is no purse to fight over. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
I accept this duel. The other tournament is that I challenged Lord Pryor to a duel to the ground for House Cerwyn Winterfell as he stole them from me, taking advantage of Cerwyns treachery. Since this fuel won’t be to the death it will take place before my duel with Cerwyn which he doesn’t seem to understand. House Pryor | Pebble | Count Darkwood
I already challenged you, and you turned it down. I do not accept your new terms as they only benefit you, with your new narrative as to why you now want to fight me. You had your opportunity to accept. What you fail to realize is that you bring nothing to the table...not then, not now. I don't want your land nor your stink outside my castles. Outlive your first challenge and perhaps I can muster some respect for you to entertain your latest barbs. What you will get is a war if you continue your antics since you have NO rightful claims on my lands nor any good reason to murder innocent lives at Natural Hot Springs . The Queen and King shall know of my findings once my investigation is over. May your son hold a wiser head on his shoulders than his own father, lest he lose it to the first lord he "breaks an oath" to. Harrumph. Deplorable and churlish. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
The fuck, when did you challenge me? I remember some bullshit about you standing in for Lord Cerwyn. That’s not the same thing. I do indeed have a claim, by the Queen's own word you coward. She demanded you give House Cerwyn to me and you have refused. Those lands are mine by right. I really hope you go to war with me that the realm can see your utter and complete cowardice. Hiding behind your larger armies and avoiding any danger yourself, tucked away in your keep, you yellow-bellied coward.
Tournament of Marriage, Continued
House Costayne | Three Towers | sandmanIn celebration of the completion of Greater House Hightower, I will add an additional 300 golden dragons to the winner and 100 to second place, bringing the purses to 1300 and 500. And of course the exchange of dowry with Horn Hill. There are not enough participants at this time to start a tournament. Hopefully the extra gold will give courage to a few more lords to take the leap and get married. so many bachelors out there still it is a surprise others have not put forth males of proper age. House Dalt | Lemonwood | Xurrero
I won’t be able to attend the tournament this time. House Costayne | Three Towers | sandman
House Pryor has decided to attend the tournament as a spectator only. He has graciously added another 500 to the champion's purse bringing the total to 1800 to the lucky future husband and 500 to second place. House Targaryen | Dyre Den | Giddiness
I will join and will add another 1000 for the winner. Host | Jack Handy
That's now 2800 gold to the winner. The Queen has also added another 1000 gold, so the winner of this tournament will get 3800. House Ryswell | The Rills | Eddy
Would Lord Pryor, if he ever stops cowering like a yellow-bellied mongrel, and I be able to duel at this tournament? Host | Jack Handy
Yes, let me try and set that up as well.
