Half-Dwarf

Half-dwarves are the result of a union between a dwarf and a human. It does not matter which parent is which race, the result is always a half-dwarf. A half-dwarf that mates with a human will always produce a human baby, and if they mate with an dwarf, the baby will be a dwarf. Half-dwarves that mate with elves, produce zin babies. Half-dwarves are so rare, that there have been less than a dozen instances of one in the last 5000 years.

Physical Characteristics

Half-elves typically range in height between 1.5 to 1.85 meters in height, a slightly smaller range than humans. While they have the human diversity when it comes to skin tone, hair, eye color, and body type, they always have thick curly hair. In addition, half-dwarven men tend to have more facial hair than regular humans. They physically age the same as humans and have the strength, stamina, and resilience that dwarves have.

Adimus Capabilities

Like humans, half-dwarves tend to have high mentus diversity. They have a 70% chance of being born a channeler, a 15% chance of being born another classification of mentant-non, and about a 10-12% chance of being born a mentant. There is also the slim possibility that they can be born mandants or as a rare adimus classification, but only mandant-non, skillmaster, or melder. Like dwarves they have an extremely high affinity with channeler mentus, even higher than regular dwarves.
Like humans, half-dwarves can use their adimus to permanently change their eye and hair color. Also like humans, the women can control their own fertility and whether or not they can conceive, and the men can control the sex of their offspring.
