It was named after the red moon Virtuous, representing purity.
The settlement can be found in the northern region of the known world, in the region of Amriga in the Country of Enser
Founding
The settlement underwent two separate foundings, the first being from the priests of Shesire that used the Domclav Plateau as a holy site believing it was originally a volcano cut in half by the mighty spirit of domination. This site would be visited frequently with it eventually being built into the Eye of Shesire, a large domed temple with a large hole into the top gazing into the sky. During the year -934, the great Oblivion purge, the enlightened Mirran sought metal and a defensive position. The region was a prime location to find tin and copper, which were needed for the bronze armour and weapons of the time. These two initial structures are found on separate sides of the plateau, with the cathedral being on the west and the old town on the east.Landform
It is said that the Plateau used to be a volcano until the divine Shesire, from the Totems pantheon, cut it in half to show her dominance. The soil surrounding the plateau is lush sprouting a small forest, and the earth of the plateau is rich providing a good space for some farms requiring very specific minerals such as Flachboon. This nutrient rich soil is likely a result of deposits from the volcano that existed before. Surrounding the western side of the plateau is the Domclav mountains stretching far. The mountains are difficult to traverse making them a natural barrier from the western provinces.Districts
The plateau is divided into 8 districts, each acting as a tribute to the totem spirits of the Eight Thorns. With each being named after one of their respective prophets, Aulien, Chlaas, Dante, Denih, Devohn, Gehrult, Joren, and Mathies. These districts are broken down into their respective streets and regions of industrial, commercial and residential respectably.Aulien
Located on the western side of the Plateau. It features the Flame Palace, with the Eye of Shesire at the top of it. With the inclusion of the Ash Library after the Pact of Flame. Surrounding the castle is the noble residential and commercial streets, with the inclusion of exterior relaxation areas for public use. Besides the Eye of Shesire, a smaller temple can be found outside dedicated to Shesire. This distract is restricted from most civilians, only those with residential status, visitors of the temple or those with a permit are allowed passage.Chlaas
The north western district, in tribute to the prophet of Marduh it holds an arena and a large barracks which became the great barracks of the Scarlet Legion. The arena being decently sized, although nothing compared to the coliseum of Vectulheld, it sees frequent use through tournaments and formal duals. The districts commercial side features primarily weapons and armour, alongside small medical supplies to fend off a wound until it is treated. The highlight of the district is a large university of sparing and bladed combat, while also functioning as the temple to Marduh. Dante, Denih, Devohn, Gehrult, Joren, and Mathies.Defences
The city has been placed upon a plateau with overhangs with spikes to limit scaling the walls.
The front entrance is around the plate allowing the city more time to react to approaching armies. There are three sets of gates, the first with a large portcullis to be held shut. The second date is right after the first with a drawbridge connecting the two. The last gate has a portcullis filled with murder holes.
The only other entrance is a secret guarded by the royal families that leads through the old mine shafts to the other side of the mountains that lay on the west.

Industry & Trade
The city used to be a mining site for tin and copper which was used for making bronze, but the mine shafts ran dry and now are blocked off. The city then became a trade hub and started growing berries to make into wine.
There are a great many blacksmiths who remain here gaining metal from other settlements allowing the routes of the settlement to still flourish.

Built into the royal chambers, created by Rebekah Gludroww while in service to the Infernal Emperor, Enser Flame. It holds the second-greatest collection of knowledge in the world, with it only being rivalled by the dwarven library built by Dwalexandria Tasha Wimble.Tourism

Architecture
The majority of buildings are built with stone featuring arches mimicking gothic architecture, it is also common to find inclusions of gargoyles depicting their pantheons totems.

All around the plateau is dense trees, but they don't span far from the plateau.
The centre of the plateau is a giant hole that a river slowly fills with water, its believed it was originally part of the volcano, but what is evident is the fact this lake of water is feeding the local forest.

Natural Resources
The forest provides moist paper like wood that doesn't last long but also is quite resistant to fire making it a useful building material for smaller settlements.
