The Theater of the Uncanny
The Theater of the Uncanny (usually called just “the Theater,” or sometimes derisively “the Little Shop of Horrors”) is a very respected pack even though it rarely chooses to
exercise this influence. The pack is led by The Black Pearl , the Bishop of South Beach, and consists of the prime feeding-grounds of the city's most popular nightclubs and tourist traps. In the dark corners of this bustling nightlife throbs the heart of the Sabbat, in a violent circus with the Pearl as ringleader. While the Pearl is an adept Metamorphosist, the Theater's rag-tag assortment of members express themselves in various other ways, from the visual arts to flesh- and bone-crafting, but they all indulge their Beasts.
The Pearl supports the continued rule of Mendoza because they prefer peace to war, and there are many parallels between the Paths of Cathari and Metamorphosis. fundamentally, however, the Pearl seeks to become something new while Mendoza's carnal desires serve no greater purpose. The Pearl would be fine with a new regime as long as Miami did not become more assertive in its warmongering, and the Theater's territory in South Beach is respected. Alternatively, virtually any pack would love to claim South Beach as their own, or for it to be turned to collective ownership like Liberty City. The crowds of compliant cattle are key fodder for the Theater and their “performances” and, in their view, serve a more important function than a food source. Not all Sabbat would agree, but the Theater dismisses these philistines.
