House of Fëanor
The House of Fëanor (Q."Nossë Fëanáro"; S."Nos Faenor") or Fëanorians were the seven Sons of Fëanor and their followers.They represented the major tribe of the Etyangoldi or Noldorin Exiles while the House of Fingolfin, although by far larger in number, were second in royal line.
History
It was formed during the Years of the Trees when Fëanor married Nerdanel and had seven sons. After the death of Finwë and the theft of the Silmarils, Fëanor became High King of the Ñoldor, but with his early death and the rash and traitorous deeds committed by him, the house did not rule the Ñoldor in Aman or Middle-earth. Instead, the overlordship passed to the House of Finarfin in Aman with the support of the Valar, and the House of Fingolfin in Middle-earth when Maedhros repented the deeds of father after being rescued from torment on Thangorodrim by his good friend Fingon.

The Elves usually didn't recognize coins and relied mostly on barter, also elves used to estimate Silver higher than gold making currency exchange difficult. The Mirkwood-Elves, however, had started to emit a simple silver-coin, the Celeban for trade with the Northmen.
