Angrboda

The giantess Angrboda had an amazing gift of foresight, even among giant standards. However this gift would also carry a curse. Any children she would sire would become monsters. She would not find this out until she and her lover Loki would sire an abundance of monsterous children. However, despite her children being monstrous by the standards of all others, she loved her children all the same. Her kindness was offered to those who are misunderstood and wrongfully persecuted, many of whom were monsters thus giving her the name "Mother of Monsters". She was away during the moments Loki and their children were bound by the Aesir. Upon learning of their fate, she offered no resistance and merely asked to be by her lovers side. Upon Loki's escape, she became the queen of Brenna, a realm of its own formed within the cave for which Loki was bound. Since then she has offered her loving guidance to many of the monsters of the world, making her a hated god by the many folk who hate and fear monsters.
Depiction. She is depicted as a large stone giantess with long black dreads and red eyes. She wields a wooden staff and a large bloody snake coiled up her arm.
Worshippers. Her worshippers are among the more monstrous races of the world, even the less sentient monsters feel some sort of compassion towards her. Her worship can also be seen among groups of people who feel wrongfully convicted or persecuted by others.
