Narfi
Narfi was once the star child of Loki. He was the youngest child and unlike his siblings was not monstrous. In fact his beauty was said to be rivaled only by that of Baldur's. In many aspects Narfi was much like Baldur and the two were actually very close friends. When it came time for the Aesir to bind Loki and his kin, Narfi was killed and ripped to shreds by Garm after he was driven mad. His mother Angrboda would attempt desperately to bring her child back to life but would only be successful in bringing his body back as the soul was long since gone. His soul-hollow corpse rose as a deity of rot, decay, and corruption. Taking the mantle of Moander; he sought to spread his existence across the Nine Realms. As the god of decay, Moander could manifest through any type of rot. The deity created long tentacles of rotting matter that sprouted from the spots of decay that could extend for as far as miles. These rotting tentacles were gathering spots for cults that worshipped the rotting god and who would feed vast amounts of dead matter to it, including themselves.
Depiction. He is depicted as a massive rotting corpse with tentacles around him, all made from dead matter of various creatures.
Worshippers. Moander's presence and worship have been chronicled in many ancient texts. Some were older than his first recorded organized worship in Midgard. Moanderite worship was predatory dogma that preyed on lonely folk adrift in the world. Those desperate enough to join worship welcomed the firm direction it gave their life. Moander has never been flush with worshipers. However, numerous cults have been dedicated to the deity.
