Selûne (sɛˈluːnɛ/ seh-LOON-eh)
The White Lady
Selûne, also known The White Lady, is the lawful good goddess of Elysium. She is an angel, born before the Angelic Harp yet having been granted the boon of it. Selûne was once close to Asmodeus before the fallout of angels yet now despise him and all other angels who turned away from elysium and walked into the Nine Hells. Now she rules Elysium and upholds a strict dogma to ensure that no one else strays from what she considers the true path.
The moon and stars are often compared to Selûne as she is said to be a guide on the right path just as the stars guides travellers across the world. Although she is seen a the one guiding the lost, in the same sentence she is the one who destroy everything in her path.
A traveler lost at sea would look up to the sky, see the moon and follow its light as it is a light given by Selûne to guide their path. Yet when they arrive the same moonlight would burn their destination to the ground as she saw them as heretical.-The duality of Selûne as described by scholars
