Veronica is a human wizard living in Cliffshire. On the outside she looks like a young woman no older than 30 but beneath the surface she is one of the most powerful spellcasters who has lived for over 300 years. She is commonly seen around the markets perusing the various stalls, looking for something new. When she's not out and about she remains in her store, reading a book by the counter, not really paying any attention to the store or the customers.
In her younger years, Veronica was known as an adventurer who at times did the work of groups or even smaller organisations. Before that she had studied only for a few years at the Arcane Collective and become an abjuration expert. Her breakthrough came when she was 26, a wizard was attempting to achieve lichdom within the city of Cliffshire. She fought the wizard in the middle of their ascension and came out as strong enough be ranked a abjuration master. It did not take more than a few years until she was named grandmaster of abjuration and had fought on several battlefields, gaining the nickname guardian angel.
During her rise though the Arcane Collective, many aspiring casters wanted to become her disciple but she continuously rejected them. Even after she rose to be the strongest wizard of abjuration, she refused the role of tower master of abjuration and instead went around the world. Around the age of 45 was when she settled down in Cliffshire and she has stayed there ever since.
