Tuulet Overview

Tuulet is a medium sized isle just south of Saari, the north of which is extensively farmed, and which provides agricultural support for Jattil, Kitta, Vaati and Nokka. The southern portion of the island is marsh and swamps. The largest port is Loki, on the eastern shore, and serves as the major port through which goods come to Tuulet and produce such as wheat, rye, and fruits ship out. The southern part of the island is dominated by two large rivers, the Green River and the Black River originate in the center of the island. These wide, slow rivers form the eastern and western borders respectively of the Water Fields of Titaani In the center of the island is a the town of Kuota, reachable either through uncharted overland treks for by paddling upriver from either Uo in the West or Kosto in the East. This centrally located city is built on stilts above the marshy ground, and is known for incense production, based on resinous trees that grow only there.

Geography

Large island dominated in the north by farm land that supports several other islands, and in the south by two massive rivers and lowland swamps.

Fauna & Flora

In the north, open fields, occasional stands of oaks and myrtle. in the south, at the source of the two large rivers, resinous trees form mangrove like forests and are used for incense that is widely sought after throughout Melnea. The swamps to the south are filled with poisonous snakes, lizards, Grung, and Kobolds (more to the west), nomadic tribes of fishermen, the Kalsta, basilisks, shambling mounds. There are rumors of an powerful black dragon in the west, and a younger but ambitious green dragon wandering along the border of the swamp and the fertile regions in the north of Tuulet.
