Europa
Europa is the fourth-largest moon of Jupiter. It is named for the mythical Human princess Europa, who was a consort of the king of the gods. Like Callisto and Ganymede, Europa possesses a subsurface ocean. For much of the 20th and 21st centuries CE, scientists on Earth speculated that Europa's oceans contained alien life. However, expeditions in the late 21st and 22nd centuries CE disproved those notions. However, much of the reserach infrastructure established on the moon continued to evolve into one of the largest R&D facilities in the Sol System. This was further improved with the construction of a minor orbital of the Sol Habitat Complex, which provides much-needed facilities for researchers on the icy moon.
