Prel

Prel (Scientific Classification Brekta 6) is a Class 7 world located in Imperium territory. It is the 6th planet in the Brekta System, orbiting a Type G5 star, with a slightly larger than average mass, giving a gravitational rating of +0.6. The atmosphere is a thick composition of 21% Oxygen, and 79% inert gasses such as Nitrogen, argon, and neon. Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxides, methane, and ozone are trace gases that account for about a tenth of one percent of the atmosphere. Water vapor is on average at a 4% concentration. The thick atmosphere accounts for the high levels of water in the air, making the planet more humid than average. The high amount of water on Prel also accounts for a very thick layer of clouds at all times. This gives the surface of the planet a constant look of twilight. Only rarely does the sun light break through the clouds. Such areas are generally avoided due to Prel natives having no pigments in their skin to protect from sunlight. Plant life has adapted to the low light environment by forming large, dark leaves, which collect as much sunlight as possible. Exposure to direct sunlight for long periods would burn and kill the plants. The native population of Prel, (also called Prel) evolved without direct sunlight, and when offworld usually require eye protection and skin protection when in standard to high lighting environments. However the slightly higher gravity and thick atmosphere give them high lung capacity and a slightly stronger frame.
