Xylen

The Kadosh tells believers that the Xylen were carved by Mehlehkh himself out of the strongest trees in Mirizel. The resulting creation was a humanoid species with plant-like qualities. A xylen's skin is similar to bark and most commonly comes in shades of green and brown with some cases of yellow or purple. Branches protrude from their foreheads and resemble the trees of their environment. These horns each have a bone core with layered keratin surrounding it. This adaptation allows Xylen to cool themselves in hot and humid biomes.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

All Xylen tend to have a minor affinity to magic resulting in its basic use. Major magical affinity is rare but those blessed with it wield grey magic with great skill. Because they have lived in the wetlands and jungles of southern Runnoth for so long Xylen have adapted to be extremely perceptive in their homeland. Most Xylen have yellow eyes, this allows for an individual to have increased sight in the dark.
