The Divine Shrines of The Eternal Empress

The Divine Shrines of the Eternal Empress are the centerpoint of the Divine Web, more spesificly the bridge that connects them known as the Empress Walk. This is a sprawling complex spanning the two centermost islands of the archiplelago which include two large shrines and the afformentioned bridge connecting the two. The two central islands collectively known as the the "Heart of Nijion". The entire complex is arrayed in behind walls in the shape of an infinity symbol which represents the belif that the reign of the Eternal Empress will be never ending. The two shrines act as the governmental and religous center of the entire archipelago. The Shrine of the Empress of Sea located on the on the left of the bridge, houses the royal meeting hall as well as the royal appartments and the consultation chamber. The Shrine of the Empress of Land located on the right of the bridge contains the tetrarchy chambers and dormitories as well as the public meeting hall. The Shrine of the sea is located on the same island as the Estate of the Holy Neifirimu Clan as well as the Library of the Etrernal Empress( which is closed to everyone without permisson from the Empress herself). The island on which the Empress resides is known as Kōnoshima. The island on which the Shrine of Land resides also contains the Grand Temple of the 7 Lights as well as the Hall of the Dimyos, this island is known as Mokupuni.
