Chief Inspector Baremin Barleyhare
Chief Inspector of the City Watch of Caer Craftenor, he was originally assigned to Lower Craftenor with the rank of investigator. He was investigating a case with multiple disappearances without much of a lead, but then Princess Ireltharis Alistair, whom he had a romantic relationship with, asked the League to help him find the culprit. With investigation, the party discovered that it was an Urban Stalker and slew it, calling Baremin out to take the credit for the creature's slaying.
The party later found themselves in Caer Craftenor again, where Baremin had been reassigned to Upper Craftenor. The party informed him of slaad shapechangers in the city, and with that information, Baremin was able to gain more prestige.
The party met him once again, now with the rank of Chief Inspector, while he was protecting Ireltharis as the pair of them enjoyed a date at the fair while incognito. The party informed him of werewolves that had infiltrated the fair as well as the guard. With this information, he warned Queen Emeldawn Alistair and gathered a group of guards armed with silver weapons. Though the party took down the lycanthropes, they wanted Baremin to take the credit. Baremin then went to to carnival to try to root out any remaining lycanthropes.
