An elder Northlander member of the village of Hofsa on the isle of Llywelyn. She runs the Moorleaf Apothecary with her children. She was approached by Illevaere, who warned her of a possible ash lung outbreak in the village. She also had a supply of wolfsbane, which she said is good for poisoning lycanthropes if it is ingested, but that it is difficult to have them ingest it. Illevaere mentioned the idea of turning it into an incense, which they saw Malrius Harken use. Matilda thought that was a good idea and offered to start to dry and powder the supply that she had and that she would have her children collect more.
Illevaere also noted the small shrine to Caena, The Mother of Plagues, in the apothecary and Matilda explained that she was a follower of the Mother, because of her warding the village from disease and illness, as well as infection of lycanthropy. She also states that she is not an active cleric of Caena.
