Hofsa

The village of Hofsa sits quietly along the rugged bay of the Isle of Llywelyn, its wooden homes huddled together against the chill winds that blow in from the moors. Hofsa is small and modest, yet its people are hardy, living by the strength of their arms and the protection of the old gods. The village is situated close to the Heathmoors, a vast, mist-covered stretch of wild land known for being overrun with feral lycanthropes. The howls of wolves and other beasts often carry on the wind from the moors, reminding the people of Hofsa of the constant danger lurking nearby.   Despite these threats, Hofsa thrives under the guidance of its Northlander customs. The villagers are skilled hunters and fishermen, drawing their livelihood from both the moors and the sea. The longhouse at the village center serves as a place of gathering and protection, where the people celebrate the old ways with feasts and rituals. The village's true guardian, however, is a werebear who lives on the outskirts, a reclusive figure who watches over Hofsa from the shadows. This werebear is seen as both protector and wise elder, driving off feral lycanthropes when they venture too close to the village. His presence gives the villagers confidence that, even when the moors howl with danger, they are not without defense.

Defences

The village's interests are well-protected by a Werebear that many know to be Obadiah Larsen, who lives on the outskirts of Hosfa.
