Askreiz
Askreiz is a region of scrubby grass, hardy trees, tough flora, and dense bogs. There is little fertile land in this area, and the places that are have settlements or communal rests for those who reside there. The main inhabitants of Askreiz are the tieflings and the tribal orcs who still roam as they had before the Green Wars and the Hellish Exodus. The terrain is tough, foreboding, and those unaware of the dangers may find themselves lost, turned around, or killed.
There are many unknown phenomena that are said to be found in this region; floating disembodied lights, unintelligible mutterings, singing guiding to cliffs or to quaking bogs, and Sudden Bog Death Syndrome (SBDS). These are allegedly only instances that those who seek to harm the inhabitants of the bogs are subjected to, but only the bog lights have been confirmed. The tieflings and orcs who reside in Askreiz claim that these are protections from their gods, but this is refuted by humans.
