Ra

Ra is a warm arid world in the Peregrine System. It has a breathable mix of air and an engineered biosphere. Fewer than a million people live here. Most of the population live in resort cities run by the Consortium, but there are many small desert-dwelling societies here as well.
Ra is known for its genetically engineered entertainers, wide variety of available drugs, and decadent resorts.

History

Ra was originally established as a military outpost by the Human Worlds Alliance.
