House Rumstag is the Royal house of Wintercov ruling out of Stagfrost . They are a family with a strong bloodline for the ridgid styles of body, ice, stone, barrier, and metal magics. All members of this bloodline the gift of Armorskin .Thus Rumstag are great physical defenders. Their Founding monarch was Emeth Stagson a stone mage demigod and Esedea Azorum an ice mage. They greatly valued traditional and consistency.
Their House words are “Show No Weakness ". It embodies their determination to remain strong and unmoving. Their insignia is a pair of stag horns on a diamond on a gray field. the antlers are a reference to their house animal of the whiteelk, an animal reown for its strenght, duralibity and resistance. The gray color represents the snow and stone so common in their kingdom. It also is a knod to house Aothor a powerful earily ally to early Rumstag family. Their house animal is the whiteelk. House Rumstag is famously known to be excellent guardians.

Structure

The head of the family is the king or queen of Wintercov. In Covian tradition, the monarchy passes down among the male heirs. Thus the eldest son is first to inherit the crown. If their are no male heirs the female heirs are next in line.
A monarch's coronation is known as the "Kings Hunt" . The prospective monarch will be allowed one weapon and wearing only their undergarment must complete a hunt within the royal caves, a labyrinth arena. Once the Proestive monarach emerges from the caves they will have proven their own strenghten on mind body and soul. They are then crown and begin their reign.

History

House Rumstag began with the marriage of Emeth Stagson and Esedea Azorum. The Rumstag name is a fusion of a house Azorum and Stagson. They were considered the two strongest houses that lead the effort to stop the Sailon empires from gaining territory in Winters Cove. So when during the Resting of the Stones it was decided that a combination of these house would become the royal line for the new Wintercov kingdom Alliance.
However the offical founder is considered Emeth Rumstag, A powerful Stone demigod half mage and giant. Part of this was because he was the male counterpart of the monarchy and would be the first King of Wintercov. But He also participated in the Convergence Barrier Ritual. In his younger years we was sent as an ambassador to the Pirate Queen along with Warog. However in the process he ended up escorting the

House was a founded by a sithe and a half gaint half mage. Those races have remained the pretty consistent, at least among the royal line. Many of the branch family have mixed among the other races

Their kingdom of Wintercov is located in an area known as Winters Cove, The cold south central region of Morteron of Morteron. To the north is the kingdom of the whitelands. To the west is the Godset Sea. To the south is the Savage Sea and the Frosted Sea. To the east is the Onyx river and the Autumia Kingdom.
