Orske
Orske is a fairly large and affluent city with a dock of moderate size, on the northeast side of the cedarwood run. There is growing industry in poorer parts of the city as houses are demolished to make way for factories, downwind of the rich districts.
There is an island at the center of the river on which the richest in the city live with room for fairly few boats, traffic mostly gets there by the bridge.
The poorest of the poor live outside the city wall and perform the more rural industries, farming and the like.
Inside the city is split into a number of districts, The Terrace,

A large wall surrounding the merchant ward with a smaller ward around the terrace
Infrastructure
There are 3 walls around the city on the river bank. The outer wall which encloses the terrace is a piecemeal assembly having been built slowly and having weathered the most damage despite not actually falling in the saurian war. The merchant wall surrounds the merchant ward. It's tall, thick and stone all the way along its length. A section of it, enclosed within the outer wall, fell during the Suuarian war to a small assault tea who snuck in during the saurian war and blew it up. The old wall surrounds the old ward. It's lower but thicker than the merchant wall but it has never fallen, perhaps due to the steepness of the hill here. It is actually thick enough to function as a barracks for the guard meaning that the old ward is one of the best-protected places in the city.
The main road runs into the city through the city but stops at the old wall in a building called the
History
Orske started as a mining town on the bank of the cedarwood run. The town grew up on the bank with shifts of miners being ferried across to Goldenrock Isle; the ruins of the old ferry port are still visible to this day under the bridge that was built as the town grew.
Once the mines had run dry the Yanovna family, realising that the island would be a fantastic location for a castle, set about building a new keep there.
As the castle grew the city grew around it until orsk became the trade hub it now is.
Geography
The city lies on a hill with a small island a little ways into the river connected by a bridge.
