High Elves

The Altmer (High Elves) are your typical noble elf. Most high elf societies deem themselves of higher stature than for instance Humans or Dwarves. Among the family of elves, High Elves deem themselves closer to their ancestors the Arkayne than the other elves, as they weren't tainted/gifted by a deity like the Wood Elves and Dark Elves were. Groups of high elves are found in the Westfork since they awoke from their long slumber as described in The 40 year interim, but were before thought to be extinct in these parts of the world.
