Adolph Bogardus
Proprietor of the Blue Heron General Store, Adolph Bogardus greets all his customers with a smile and good deal. Mr. Bogardus has been an active participant in Munson since his family immigrated from Eastern Europe a generation ago. He has helped many people around town by giving them jobs or funds when they needed it most. When he first opened his store, Mr. Bogardus ran about the town, arranging to sell the goods of many local businesses at cost so that those businesses don't have to market themselves. Now places like the MacTavish Orchards sell their goods through the Blue Heron, not having to open their own storefronts. A good deal on both sides, if the people involved are to be believed.
Mr. Bogardus' genial nature has allowed his business to be accepted and welcomed by the citizens of Munson as much as Bogardus welcomes them into his store. A wide variety of goods are available at the Blue Heron, in some cases even Bogardus is not certain what is in stock anymore. It is the go to place for anything one might need. Bogardus is also a font of knowledge about the people of Munson, hearing many things about the town from the heavy foot traffic of his store. For supplies or gossip, The Blue Heron is the place to go.
