Charity grew up on a farm that trained show horses as well as horses for horse and buggy; She grew up around taking care of animals, especially barn cats. Her family was comfortable and was able to push Charity to learn how to write with a private mentor. She does not have a close relationship with her mother and was raised by the small group of maids at the household, and her father is rarely around as he travels horses around the USA to his customers. Charity decided to leave home at 18 years old to pursue her dream in on ground writing in Munson, NY.CAREER
Charity always loved to read and write as a child as she learned from a very young age each night from the head maid each night. Once she started to love her passion for books, she would sneak into the library of her father's study and read about the race horses while being taught to ride them. Once her father returned home one night to find her asleep inside of a book, he hired a mentor to teach Charity how to properly write to potentially be a writer in his racehorse selling company for the paper. Charity left home at 18 once she found out the true reason for learning how to write and pursued her own passion with only her favorite barn cat, horse bag, and a few dresses to her name. She traveled by foot for weeks to Munson, NY which was a town that always seem to pop mysteries, which was the one type of writing she loved the most.BELIEFS
She believes completely in the occult, and for religions she grew up Christian but does not pray or worship the religion much anymore. and still semi-follows the religion. While taking care of animals, she also believes in spirituality and would send off the passing animals to the afterlife where she would take care of them in the future.MOTIVATIONS
- Discovery/Adventure - To explore, uncover mysteries, and pioneer: Charity wants to seek the unknown in Munson, NY. She wants to push her writing from horse shows and animals to the mysteries that pop out of Munson, NY. Not only does she want to uncover them, she wants a first row seat of the action to get the best view. And, if Munson stops being her focus, she'll move onto the next mystery.
- Recognition - To gain approval, social status, or fame: While she originally doesn't know what she wants, once her first story starts to pick up traction Charity gets a bit into getting recognition in the newspaper. She didn't get much focus outside the maids, and she wasn't in any public schooling so getting attention really means a lot for her based on how secluded her background was growing up.

- Most ashamed about: Leaving her home without saying goodbye to the maids that raised her
- Fears more than anything: Failure to pursue her dream of becoming a famous paper writer
- Secrets kept: When she was young she hit her head by falling from the barn hay keeper location, and ever since she was able to sense the barn cats at a spiritual level. Cats seem to be draw to her and sometimes they give her hints, or if she's in a crowded place with a lot of street cats overwhelm her completely with their portrayed emotions.
- Last time they wept: On her first murder story where she saw a kid be murdered for the sake of sending a message to the father to pay his debt.
RELATIONS
- Friends: Growing up, she had only the maids and the cats. Once she ran out, she is extremely friendly with the marketplace and works a few local jobs where she's friendly with the owners of the shops.
- Romance: Charity isn't looking for romance and never has, she is still single and has never dated anyone. Her father was going to arrange a marriage for her, and forbade her from dating others while he looked for the proper man for his daughter.
- Role Model: The head maid; She taught Charity at a young age her passion of reading and writing, which she is ever grateful for. Alongside that, she taught her how to cook, clean, and take care of herself when her mother wanted nothing to do with her.
MEMENTO
One of the cats that came to her aid after she fell from the hay area was sitting on her lap. She could feel the energy off this cat more than others, and the cat seemed to understand semi how she was feeling so much so that it wouldn't leave her side. Now, she brings that cat with her on her travels sitting inside her bag.ADVANTAGE
With her keen ability to sense each other at some sort of magical level, she can use her cat to get into places that normally she wouldn't be able to. Sometimes, her cat helps give her clues to a crime scene, or helps steal food when she is low on funds from failed articles or missing pay.EQUIPMENT
Her bag is hand woven and larger than normal for a horse bag, as it's slung over her shoulder and was made to fit cats comfortably. She carries a small dagger with her that is nested in the inside pocket of the bag,Relationships
History
Charity finds Rhoda similar to the head maid who raised her; interested in her stories, talks to her about the tales of the town, and keeps her mind engaged. They both enjoy writing and is a big inspiration for her.

Just like everyone else, Celia pushes for Charity to be a women in writing. She believes in her passion, as she was the first person she leaked her true reason why she was in Munson, NY. Charity was shocked by the outpour of support, as Celia talked about Women's Suffrage.

Morris's disbelief in her writings she posted about the mysteries surrounding Munson, NY put a bad taste in her mouth. He preaches about the supernatural not existing, and to Charity it feels like he does not realize the mysteries or people that surround him with his mock exorcisms being very offensive to her.
