God of the Cosmos

Elsios, also known as The Endless Dragon and Starmaker, is the God of the Cosmos. He is the most powerful of the Eleven and serves as their ruler, although he keeps his distance from the mortal realm. All the distant celestial bodies, such as constellations and galaxies, are created from his vast form, which is put together from what cosmic energy remains from the Great Formation. He is the Father of Dragons, with each subrace of Dragonborn and Dragon being represented by a binding to one of Elsios' favorite constellations.

Only a few centuries into the Great Formation, it became clear to Elsios and the rest of the gods that his calling was elsewhere. He took no joy in building mountains or carving rivers. Distraught and seeking purpose, Elsios ventured out into the endless void of space. There, he was changed. The fabric of the universe wound itself around him, and he became space itself. Using these new powers, he began constructing billions of stars and thousands of planets. He organized clusters of these heavenly bodies into constellations and galaxies. Elsios gave each one of them a name as if they were his children and he the proud father. He spent centuries at such a distance from the others that even the sun's light was barely visible. Decades into The Calamity, he was called to the battle by Mestonia. He reluctantly agreed, and became the force that turned the tide against Yparxis. All Eleven joined together their strength and gifted their power temporarily to Elsios. The formless god erupted into a vast nebula which took the shape of a mighty dragon, and he overpowered The Reacher. He sealed Yparxis away from the Prime Material permanently. With the only rival to his power gone and the power of eleven gods in his hands, Elsios bent the others to his will and took his place as ruler of the gods. Even Pesata was forced into submission. With the rest of the pantheon in line, Elsios returned the gods' powers after creating dozens of breeds of dragons in the image of his favorite constellations. He granted them each the powers he had stored in their respective stars, and then returned to the vast cosmos. He learned eventually of mortalkind's creation, and returned to create the Dragonborn and Kobolds. Both of these races were meant to serve the dragons, though that changed with time and his absence. He gave them careful instructions on how they would look to the stars and see his commands before he departed once more. From his creations came astronomers and fatespeakers who gaze upon the heavens for glimpses into Elsios' knowledge, but true clerics of his are few and far between. These followers of Elsios are accustomed to solitude, as the Starmaker is rarely interested in the short lives of individual mortals. When The Silence fell upon Mytkora, few knew if Elsios was truly affected by it. He remains quiet to this day, though many expect he could be found among the stars where he has always been.
