Eslaiqi Grey Dwarves
One of the Welcomed: Eslaiqeza has a large population of those who have come in from otherlands to find a new home within its borders. Coming from all over Myzelis, anyone can find a niche for themselves within the large stretches of land, the huge cities, and deep forests of Eslaiqeza.
Gylidder Grey Dwarves
Children of the Shift: many clans of Grey Dwarves live beneath the surface of
Gylidd Syn Aethri in expansive caverns and fortified holds easily as impressive as any that reside on the surface. Much of their history was meager until the great Shift of 14,180 BAI, when
Vrokíva's wrath - drawn by the hubris of the
Coteric Pantheon - caused all of the city to shift and the surface to crack, which had catastrophic consequences for the subterranean survivalists. In response, those heroes venerated by the deep dwarves, deep gnomes, and other subterranean species underwent their Inaethrid and immediately used their powers to carve out greater holdings for their people below, leading to an explosion of population, economic boom, and a renaissance of culture. The largest grey dwarf settlement in Gylidd is directly beneath the eastern edge of the city, named Gwrande Dda (Gylidder Duergar for "Listen Well"). Duergar clans to this day draw their favor from the Grey Councillors, who have boldly led the mighty houses forward to prominence in the
Gyliddring so they would never be overlooked again. One of their greatest Councillors is Nathuril Hakbrikkan, an arcane priest of
Xyudah who has earned great favor with
Vykdramir Dauddraig - the guardian of the depths they share.
Verberan Grey Dwarves
The Mault of Enial: Enial represents the mault within the Aesthrumm Confederacy. The first to initiate the idea of a confederacy with the other true races of
Verbera, Enial is a flourishing city built into the earth, comprising an upper and lower section similar to
Sydathria. Unfortunately, the strong bonds of togetherness within the city do not extend to outsiders, which is best seen in the city's merchants. These cunning craftspersons take advantage of people coming from elsewhere, selling wares at exceedingly high prices. While this has improved the economy of Enial, it has done nothing to help the issue of the monsters that have been prowling the forests around the city. Many adventurers & mercenary parties now assume they’re being cheated out of money when it comes to clearing out these beasts.
