Our Assassination Anniversary Outline

General Outline

The Demon of industry Elscamire makes a deal with a lesser demon to cause chaos in the heart of Mira's Girls territory by assassinating Angelisia, Gwenothin or preferably both. The demon fails and knews of the attempted murder makes Mira go ballistic but she keeps the investigation as quiet as possilbe and sends angi and gwen on a quest to find their mystery attacker. After a good investigation and some classical fantasy rougishness they find the demon in question and report back to Mira so the three of them can go truly ballistic killing the unfortunate soul.

Components

Goals

Testing Boundries: Elscamire recurites the help of the Demon Overlord Uthecan to murder Angelisia and Gwenothin in the hopes of destabilizing Mira's Trifecta but in reality he cares more about the Sinborn's reaction then the acutal success or failure of the mission.   Victim's Revenge: After nearly being blown up Angelisia and Gwenothin are both very invested in finding the person responsible.   Underlady's Reputation: After having her favorite coffee shop burned half to a crisp and hearing that her friends and loyal servents were the targets of said crisping Mira Sinborn is more than willing to provide every resource at her disposal to expediate the prosses of finding and ending the would be assassin not only for revenage or to ensure the continued safety of her comrades but also to resolidify her reputation and maintain control of her varrious assests.

Stakes

Still a Target: If Gwen and Angi don't find and capture, or kill, their attempted assassin and their master then there is always a risk that the same attacker will target them again.   Destabilized Power: If Mira can't find the fool brazen enough to encroach on her territory and attack her serveants then her own reputaion and power would be publicly put into question and her control over her lands and minnions would begin to waver. As an immortal soul who's true orgnazation is really just her Angi and Gwen it would not be a huge problem for her in the long run but she could certainly loose a lot of power and allies.

Relations

Protagonists

Angelisia: The loving partner of the Succubus Gwenothin Angi is Mira's head diplomat and soul trader. She has the authority to speak and make deals on behalf of the Dark Angel and is granted a massive amount of respect because of it (of course whenever she does make a deal in Mira's name it's Mira who is granted ownership of the soul not angi herself but she's fine with that). She is not the most powerful fighter in the story but she certainly has the most connections and is the more tactful and investigative of the protagonists.   Gwenothin: Know by many semi-mythical titles Gwen is the Succubus Angelisia's somewhat over protective partner and Mira Sinborn's most notorious enforcer. Because of her incredble skill as an assassin Mira likes to keep Gwen out of the public eye as much as possible to uphold the mystic undertones of her existence that her actions have created.

Allies

Mira Sinborn: One of Hell's most power Underladies and Angelisia and Gwenothin's boss. She is the daughter of The Seven Deadly Sins Lubick and Yinrina, possess an Immortal Soul, and is the singular most power character in the story.   Benjin: The youngest of the three Lucky Girl Borthers. He's not terribly powerful or influencial but he knows lots of people and his coffee shop got ruined in the attack so he has lots of reasons to want to help.

Adversaries

Uthecan: The dark knight Demon that Elscamire tasked with assassinating Gwenothin and Angelisia.   Elscamire: The Demon of Industry, and the mastermind behind the entire story Elscamire seeks to steadly destabilize and counqer all of Hell and sending, more accurately trying to send, the Sinborn Queen's organization into disarry is one of his first methods of testing the uper echelons of Hell.

Backdrops

Locations

Nagarais: The massive mountain castle of the Demon King and House Morgane Nagarais' shadow looms ever constant over the denzins of Hell and it can be seen from anywhere within The City of Sinners.   The City of Sinners: The ever sprawling, ever burning slums of Hell the entirty of hte story takes place within this makeshift city. Most of it is rather modernized but old castles build by powerful Overlords both long dead and very much alive still litter the city and torches are just as common as electric lights. Walking down the street is always dangerous as bullets, arrows, and flying swords or axes are common just about everywhere.    The Lucky Girl: A small but cozy and popular coffee shop run by a charismatic and popular trio of Incubus brother's and their staff of performers that caters to a predominantly female patronage. Angelisia and Gwenothin are both loyal regualrs and are attacked at one of it's street-side tables. Mira Sinborn also loves the place and all three brother's work for her.   Uthecan's Fortress: As a firece traditonalist Uthecan's territory is mostly devoid of technology and other Hellish advancements and his personal fortress adheres to these rules more than anything else under his control. It does not have a trace of Elscamire's influcnece and is built and operates exactly like a mortal castle.

Subplots:
Gwen's overprotective of Angi and that often gets in their way of finding their attacker or its boss until angi finally gets sick of it and starts an argument which she will win.
possible overportectiveness includes...
  • stoping angi from exploring something they should really explore togther
  • stoping angi from engaging in a fight gwen shouldn't join alone
  • letting a suspect escape that could have been caught had angi been present
  • sprinkled double edged side comments about how gwen will "always protect her" or "never let anything happen to her" These sound fine on their own but mix them in with some minor over protective actions that make it clear it's a bit of a problem.

Author's Notes

This article is the orignal outline for the very first short story I wrote within Na Aragen. This is the form that my manuscript originally began in and while most of the information and even some of the plot points here changed, or were completely removed from the final product, I'm publishing it anyway just to show people exactly how jumbled and vauge my writing style truly is.
