Behind Naiko

The world of Naiko was a childhood passion project of two siblings and their cousin, led by the eldest. In creating fairies and mermaids to imagine and play with, they ended up creating an entire world full of characters, kingdoms, and lore. (See more about the sources of our inspiration here.)
A rough timeframe for this world, as pieced together from occasional dates on the saved pictures and documents, places it during approximately 2008-2011. During this time, the creators would have been anywhere between the ages of roughly 5 to 12 years old.
For privacy reasons, the creators have chosen to remain anonymous, but have chosen pseudonyms in order to designate which parts of Naiko were created by whom. In images where the creators' names (or other real names) appear, they have been censored with the appropriate color (or black).

The Three Creators

Blue

The eldest of the three and primary creator of Naiko. The creator of this site. In control of The Everlands, Marisolia Kabarya and other associated characters, Maria(mermaid) and her mermaid kingdom, and almost all other lands and characters.
Blue now is an artist, writer, and roleplayer with a passion for graphic design and unique tabletop roleplaying systems.

Purple

The younger sibling of Blue and the youngest of the three. In control of The Emarisa Lands, Emeralda Kaninia and other associated characters, and Lucia and her mermaid kingdom.
Purple is now a multimedia artist with a passion for digital art.

Pink

The cousin of Blue and Purple and the middle of the three. In control of Idol-While, Sarah Fahina and other associated characters, and Sarah(mermaid) and her mermaid kingdom.
