Gravediggers
The Gravediggers are a small, loosely defined gang that has followed the leadership of Eucher Vechja for the past 33 years.
History
In 3915 EC, a small group of local toughs began following Eucher Vechja to direct their string of robberies, murder, and extortion. The gang clashed with other small gangs in the Little Non district, and came out on top each time.
Local rumor states that the Gravediggers gained their name when Vechja and his gang captured rival gang leader Boyce Pruett. In the center of the trade district's Nottigend Circle, Vechja buried Pruett alive below the cobblestone streets. Uninterrupted by guards or horrified witnesses, the gang re-cobbled the streets, and walked away. Superstitious civilians refuse to cross Nottigend Circle at night, citing muffled screams from below the stone.
Whether the rumors are true or not, the Gravediggers have embraced their new name. It is said that they give only one warning to a person who has crossed them - a new shovel left in their home. A message that if they overstep again, it is the shovel they will use to dig their own grave.
The gang has survived numerous military raids, and remains the oldest active gang in Iccot.
