Known Teleportation Circles

Though spellcasters capable of teleporting at will are rare, wealthy nations and individuals have managed to create teleportation circles and methods of using them without the original creators. These teleportation circles are fragile, and incredibly valuable devices to those who own them.   Each circle has a unique sigil that binds it relative to a point in the astral plane. This connection allows those who know its sigil to target the circle and - with the correct magic - teleport to it. Most owners of a circle keep their circle's sigil a tightly kept secret, to prevent others from teleporting into their home or fortress without their permission.   Using one of these permanent teleportation circles to travel without a powerful spellcaster takes rare and expensive reagents to activate.   There are a handful of known teleportation circles in the world, even if the sigils remain secret.

Known Circles

Iccot - There is a public teleportation circle in the city of Iccot. It is heavily guarded but available for public use, and its sigil is fairly accessible knowledge. On occasion collectors of the arcane reagents needed to activate the circle will auction a use of the circle.   Grand Hollow - Seyrin's domain, the Grand Hollow, is said to have a unique and powerful teleportation circle that allows her servants to travel across the world, even without a teleportation circle to match. Public use is unheard of.   Veczi - Veczi had a teleportation circle in their capital of Kumibar , but it was dismantled in 3468 EC to prevent invasion from the warlords of fledgling Bocrae.   Holter - There are several teleportation circles in the deserts of Holter, but shifting sands can sometimes bury them. Traveling to an active buried circle can be incredibly dangerous, if not fatal.
