Succubus & Incubus
Succubi and Incubi are devils that prey on the lustful urges of mortals. They manipulating mortals into serving them, trading away their souls, or simply killing them to steal it directly. They are also known to make deals, though this does not seem to be their primary method of claiming souls. While most demons serve their masters in the Abyss, Succubi and Incubi are generally transported to the mortal realm and often given relative freedom in how they collect. They also act as the demonic forces spies - a clever individual can often have vast network of contacts, and be deeply rooted in the societies they prey on.
The differentiation between Succubi and Incubi is minor, and primarily defined by mortals rather than demons who often use the terms interchangeably. Each can appear as whatever gender or species they would like, and control their own demonic appearance to some level as well. Rather than the title being based off of gender, the true difference between the two is the style by which they gather souls.
Incubi tend to be more direct and dominant in their methods, relying on blackmail, overt deals, extortion, and subjugation of lustful mortals. Succubi instead often maintain their secrecy for vast stretches of time, and often their prey have little idea of the succubi's true nature. They tend towards more passive and patient personalities while in disguise, to throw off suspicion.
Amicubus
An amicubus is a type of devil that is generally created from an incubus or succubus who have been demoted, or were largely ineffective or unmotivated in their role. Rather than manipulating mortals, or coercing them, they form contracts with those who seek companionship full well knowing that they are dealing with a demon. It is considered a sort of dead end job for failures, but nontheless is something sought by demons who seek to do as little work as possible, or have developed a distaste for interacting with their superiors. Amicubus serve as bodyguards, loyal assistants, and companions. While incredibly rare and costly, demons occasionally accept contracts for those asking for genuine friendship. Demons capable of actually providing this are rare, and many have their minds altered to fit their client.Basic Information
Anatomy
These demons can shapechange, and generally appear as attractive humanoids - though the definition of attractive changes depending on the society they are infiltrating. Their demonic forms are likewise somewhat fluid and under their control - they can shift their general appearance, though demonic horns, wings, and other fiendish features are quite common. Incubi tend towards more frightening, overtly demonic appearances while succubi can often be mistaken for a particularly fiendish looking tiefling in their demonic form.
Succubi and Incubi are created in the Abyss fully formed from the souls of lustful, manipulative, and greedy mortal's souls.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Succubi and Incubi are capable of seeing perfectly in the dark, and can telepathically speak with nearby intelligent creatures. They can also exert a greater degree of control over those they have manipulated and tricked - they are capable of scrying on these individuals and speaking with them over any distance.
