Inquisitorial Aspirant

The Inquisitorial Aspirant is a position within the Inquisition that can loosely be defined as anyone permanently assisting an inquisitor with his duties, who has been picked willingly by the inquisitor and assists them in some way. Like most positions within the Inquisition the term is used flexibly, but there are a few caveats that are always the case. The main rules are as follows:
  1. Once inducted even lightly in the Inquisition, the aspirant cannot permanently leave their service.
  2. Like all other roles within the inquisition, to leave requires direct permission from an Arch Inquisitor
  3. To advance into the rank of inquisitor, an aspirant needs a written or preferably verbal recommendation from the Inquisitor he served, as well as a notice of release of the aspirant to the Arch Inquisitor stationed in Exelnar.
Advancement to Inquisitor is completely optional for the aspirant, and most times the aspirant will be pushed into the status of Inquisitor by his higher ups, rather than look for it himself, when they think the aspirant is ready. The training required to go through is mentally, physically and emotionally grueling, and has gotten only tougher with time.
