Paladin
The paladin serves as the base priest in the Adeptus Justicari. Despite their name, they are trained in both clerical and combat roles and they can function as temple priests and fighters alike. The main difference is under which organisation the paladin belongs to. Under the main Adeptus Justicari the paladins are, with a few exceptions, priests tending to the temples of Yiortis. However, under some other paladin Orders, they can be anything from deliverers of justice to a knightly order to an established order around a temple. There is a large amount of flexibility to what a paladin can be, in order to fulfill all their many and diverse roles in the vast Empire. Becoming a paladin can be done either through the Adeptus Justicari or any other order. In the Justicari, one must be a soldier serving under them for a number of years until they are chosen by a grand master and start training to become a paladin.
