Keeper
In the Custodis Pansophical, there is a large need for individuals who can tend to the libraries, perform the basic rights to Cognitiosis and act in general as a mix between librarian and cleric, as well as going to the world and recording new information to add to the libraries. These roles are filled by the Keepers. The Keepers form the backbone of the Custodis Pansophical, fulfilling a variety of roles from scribes to note keepers to guards of the libraries. The duties of any individual keeper depend on where their temple is located. If there is a large military presence then there is no need to protect the library, so the keepers can fill the roles of guides and tenders to the library-temples of Kognitiosis.
Contrary to most other churches, in small towns, where there are minor temples of Kognitiosis the person in charge is not deemed a Keeper, but a Loremaster. However, it is extremely rare that a small temple to Kognitiosis be established, as it is usually required to have a large need to store knowledge in order to establish a temple, and at that point a relatively large library is needed.

Requirements
Anyone looking to attain the rank of keeper needs to be a scribe and work extensively with the library. He also needs to have attained a good education from the library and worship Kognitiosis outwardly.
Appointment
A keeper is generally appointed by a loremaster in a specific library, however in most libraries the loremasters are to busy to spend time inspecting for future keepers, as such the existing keepers will write suggestions for the loremasters to evaluate.
Duties
The duties of the Keepers are to defend and protect the libraries they are appointed to, to tend to the books stored there and maintain their condition, and to ensure that the secrets stored there remain hidden.
Benefits
A Keeper has the freedom of entering the library at any time without supervision, and can enter the low restriction areas of the library.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
The main way that a Keeper will loose their position is to be raised to the position of Loremaster. Alternatively if the Keeper has a reason that their loremasters will accept, and they don't believe that he will jeopardise the temple or its secrets, a Keeper can be removed from his/her position.
