Doru

Doru was a vampire spawn found within Barovia Village. As a young man, Doru had been captured by Strahd's forces, eventually leading him to be bitten by the vampire lord himself and transformed into a spawn. He would later return to Barovia Village, seeking help from his father; Father Donavich. 
Doru was locked in the basement of the village church, while his father searched for a way to undo the curse of vampirism. In AoR 597, Doru would be discovered by the Saviours of Barovia. The group would ultimately spare Doru at the behest of his Father. Doru's fate after the destruction of Strahd is unknown, though his connection to the vampire lord would have been severed, giving him free will once more.
