Zehir
Plague Bringer, Lord of Poison, God of Disease
Zehir (za-here) was one The Eres, and was present for the creation of Naneth at the beginning of the Age of Creation. Not much is known about Zehir, though he was not responsible for creating any life alongside Eldath or Silvanus.
During the conflict between Bane and the other Eres, Zehir stood aside, awaiting the outcome. When The Dead Three were finally banished, and the other Eres decided to leave Naneth, Zehir also retreated to The Feywild. While here, Zehir became enamored with the flora of the Fey, studying it's proprieties, testing it's effects. From time to time, Zehir would return to Naneth and The Mortal Plane, to test his creations of poisons and diseases. Because of this, Zehir became known as The Plague Bringer, and was feared by most mortals. To the Elves he became known as a corrupt creature of the Feywild and enemy to Eldath.
During the Age of Renewal, Zehir was thought to be the architect behind The Plague, also known as The Death Curse. Although this was later proven to be false, based on research by the mages of Veth Monra.
Worshipers
Being the God of Disease, Zehir does not command many followers, and most would prefer if his gaze turned away from Naneth. However, many Druids, Rangers and Rogues relay on the power Zehir provides. Knowledge of deadly alchemy components, poisons and brews interest these professions the most.Artifacts
“The Blight”; Said to be an amulet housing great destructive power. Using this item would give the wearer unparalleled control over death, disease and poison. Perhaps it would amplify truly horrific spells like Contagion or Blight.
