Goddess of the Elves Aisling (a.k.a. the Promised Return)
The first of the New Gods of the 3rd Age, she brought her people to a new land. With her own hands, she dug up the roots of every wicked magical corruption sown by the Dragon Emperor and planted new seeds over the course of 12 days. Overnight, the forest grew. A forest the elves named in her honor.
When war broke out, Aisling protected her lands from the Giants' invasion. She covered their retreat, sacrificing her own life to do so. The elves, empowered by her selfless act, drove the Giants back into the seas to drown.
When the rest of the Gods returned, Aisling was not among them. However, a prophecy has foretold of her return on the Promised Day. The elves still pray to her, unwilling to give up hope.
