Bedd Mair ([beːð])
(The name comes from the Cymraeg words 'bedd' (grave) and 'Mair' (Cymraeg form of Maria)).
During the First Calm
Mair Barrowright was a famed storyteller, and when the Siomeff expedition set out, they removed her bones and took them with them, to bury anew in their new home. They were reburied in the Nyridda Heartlands, and the location's first settlement was named after her, Bedd Mair.
