Drow
The Drow are a race with a history tightly interwoven with the goddess Ura and filled with rich arcane study.
Though occasionally referred to as "Dark Elves," this is considered a slur by most Drow; they consider themselves superior to the surface Elves, and do not appreciate the comparison.

Biological Traits
Dark skin, red eyes, and dark hairs that lightens to shades of grey and white with age (usually becoming fully white by a Drow's 40th year).

History
According to the legends kept by Uraka'val major houses, the Drow were created directly by the goddess Ura to be her acolytes in arcane study. As she taught them to shape the stone under the mountains, draw sustenance from the plants and fungi feeding off the energy from deep within the planet, and domesticate subterranean giant spiders, the first of the Drow began to unravel the mysteries of the arcane, tapping into ancient magical energies.
The Drow tend to organize themselves around matriarchal familial bonds, with a Drow Matron's political and economic power coming from her family and the families she has brought into her fold. However, the great Drow houses tend to fracture and fall on the deaths of their matrons, so much of Drow history ends up either lost or modified to fit the needs of the next family to rise in power. As such, the Drow lack the same kind of reliable historical record-keeping enjoyed by Gimmela.
