Ivan the advisor
Coming to neternus as an "independent interstellar shipping company" with just a few crewmates and some refined materials hard to come by this far out of a core branch, Ivan was able to make quite the small fortune and eventually settled down as an advisor to Cil Audrey, a member of the Treskotin Parliament and a decorated general and war hero who thought Ivan's familiarity with politics on a galactic scale could turn out to be most valuable. Unbeknownst to Lord Audrey, he also advises and upstart politician that wants to bring the full force of the Treskotin Military down on the Devil of the Mountain, Eathlan Krest. No one seems to be aware that he's backing 2 sides of the Treskotis power struggle.
One of his employees has also made it into the Pyre Glaa Alchemical guild and is working as an advisor to high lord Cedric Raven, to make removing him as a threat easier, and should the installing of Ethlan Krest as a puppet ruler fall through he will already be aligned to Ivan's interests. Another is working as an advisor to the minor lords of Trekotis' southern most teritories, and has already began causing trouble in the name of furthering Eathlan Krest's political position.
With his influence felt in so many places, he is nearly ready to begin the extermination of the nonhumans across the dead bridge. As it is standard practice to have the local population remove hazards such as demon lords from a planet before calling in forces for a full occupation. With such heavy myst corruption however, the heads of the operation are still hesitant to make this a permenant settlement. It could be more effective to strip the planet's ruins with no regard for its longevity, allowing it to be done in under a decade, before the Myst could halt the operation.
